The Silencers have since gone on to release several more albums including Altered States (1996), Pause for a Hoarse Horse (2002), and Longshot For Your Love (2009). They have also toured extensively throughout Europe and North America during this time. Their 2023 tour will include stops in Glasgow, Manchester, London, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam among others. Along with their live performances, they continue to release new material regularly; most recently they put out their ninth studio album entitled ‘A Blues For Buddha’. Throughout their career, The Silencers have earned numerous awards including Best Live Band at the Scottish Music Awards in 2005 and Best Rock/Alternative Band at the UK Festival Awards in 2006. They have also been nominated for various awards such as Best Live Act at the Brit Awards in 2008 as well as Best Rock/Alternative Band at both the UK Festival Awards in 2007 & 2011 respectively.
