Saosin is an American rock band formed in Orange County, California in 2003 by Beau Burchell, Justin Shekoski, Zach Kennedy, and Anthony Green. The Saosin band released their first EP, Translating the Name, in 2003. Since then, Saosin has gone on to become one of the most successful rock bands of its time. Their debut album In Search Of Solid Ground was released in 2009 and debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. It featured hit singles such as "Seven Years" and "You're Not Alone". In 2006, Saosin released their second album Voices which included songs such as "It's All Over" and "Sleepers". This album was a critical success and earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album. Their third album Along the Shadow was released in 2016 with hit singles such as Saosin Silver String and "Ideology Is Theft". This album also earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album.
Throughout their career, Saosin has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe with some of the biggest names in music including Linkin Park, Paramore, and Taking Back Sunday. They have also made appearances at major festivals such as Warped Tour, Reading & Leeds Festival, Southside Festival, and more. They have been nominated for numerous awards throughout their career including two Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album. Saosin is now preparing for their 2023 tour which will kick off in San Diego at Viejas Arena.
