Chelsea Grin is an American deathcore band from Salt Lake City, Utah. Formed in 2007, the group has released two EPs and seven full-length albums. Chelsea Grin was originally founded under the name Ahaziah. The band gained a large following in their local scene with their first EP, The Human Condition (2007). After signing with Artery Recordings in 2009, they released their debut album Desolation of Eden (2010), which peaked at No. 30 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The Chelsea Grin band has gone through several lineup changes since its formation in 2007; vocalist Chelsea Grin Alex Koehler was the only original member remaining until his departure in 2015. Following his departure, the band continued as a four-piece and released Self Inflicted (2016) and Eternal Nightmare (2018). In 2020, they announced their return to the metalcore scene with their seventh album, The Wolf You Feed. The album received positive reviews from fans and critics alike for its heavy sound and intricate songwriting. In addition to releasing new Chelsea Grin music, Chelsea Grin has toured extensively throughout Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia over the years.
