A Day to Remember is an American rock band that has been around for nearly two decades. They’ve released six studio albums, one live album, and several EPs, singles, and music videos. Their musical style ranges from pop-punk to metalcore and many of their songs have received critical acclaim, with some even being featured in major motion pictures. The band first formed in 2003 while the members were attending high school in Ocala, Florida. The original lineup consisted of Jim Riley on drums and vocals, Tom Denney on guitar, Josh Woodard on bass guitar, and Neil Westfall on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. In 2004 they released an EP titled This Is Our Moment followed by their first full-length album And Their Name Was Treason in 2005. With the success of this record, the band began touring extensively for the next three years before signing with Victory Records in 2008.
The following year saw them release Homesick under their new label which went platinum in the US and sent two singles “ If It Means a Lot To You” and “The Downfall of Us All” up the charts. This was followed by What Separates Me From You (2010), Common Courtesy (2013), Bad Vibrations (2016), and You're Welcome (2020). Alongside these commercial successes, A Day to Remember has picked up three Kerrang Awards including Best International Band in 2010 as well as multiple Billboard Music Awards nominations over the years. While touring they have shared stages with artists such as Blink 182, Rise Against, All Time Low, and 30 Seconds to Mars among others – having headlined Vans Warped Tour more than once-, earning them spots at festivals like Reading & Leeds Festival or Rock am Ring & Rock im Park among others -where they became the first ever non-European act to play both together-. They have also performed globally at locations such as Mexico City Coliseum or Tokyo Budokan performing at a sold-out show each time they set foot there.
