10 Years is an American alternative metal band that formed in Knoxville, Tennessee back in 1999. The band found mainstream success with their debut album, Mer de Noms, which was released in 2000. The album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 and has been certified platinum by the RIAA. In addition to their success in the United States, 10 Years has also seen success internationally, particularly in Australia where they have had three albums chart in the top ten. The band has released a total of seven studio albums, with their most recent being From Birth to Burial, which was released in 2014. 10 Years has sold a total of over 1.6 million albums worldwide. 10 Years is composed of lead vocalist Jesse Hasek, rhythm guitarist Ryan "Tater" Johnson, lead guitarist Matt Wantland, bassist Chad Huff, and drummer Brian Vodinh. All of the members of the band contribute to the songwriting process. On November 19, 2006, 10 Years revealed and made official the second album's title, Division. It was released on May 13, 2008. The first single from the album, "Beautiful", was made available for streaming on their MySpace page on March 4, 2008, and was released to radio stations on March 18. The song peaked at No. 28 on the Mainstream Rock chart and No. 19 on the Alternative Songs chart. The second single, "Focus", was released to radio on July 15.

The band's fifth studio album, From Birth to Burial, was released on April 21, 2015. The band announced that they had parted ways with drummer Brian Vodinh. The band released a statement saying, "We have amicably parted ways with our brother and drummer Brian Vodinh. We want to thank him for his contributions over the years and wish him well in all his future endeavors." 10 Years announced that they had started working on their sixth studio album. The album is set to be released in the fall of 2017.
