Justin Rafael Quiles Rivera (born March 29, 1990), also known as Justin Quiles or J Quiles, is a Puerto Rican-American singer. Justin has been nominated for several youth awards including Juventud's Premios. Quiles has been recording for the label Rich Music since August 2013. In February 2017, Warner Music's Latin arm and Rich Music signed a distribution agreement. The first single from the deal was Quiles' "Si Ella Quisiera".
Quiles was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to a Puerto Rican family. He spent his childhood in Puerto Rico but returned to Connecticut for high school. After graduating, he decided to pursue a career in music. In 2013, Quiles released his first single, "No Te Vayas", which peaked at number 35 on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart. The following year, he released his second single, "Orgullo (Pride)", which peaked at number 33 on the same chart.
In 2015, Quiles released his third single, "Me Curare", which peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart. The following year, he released his fourth single, "Si Ella Quisiera", which peaked at number 17 on the same chart. Quiles has been nominated for several awards, including Premios Juventud's "Revelación Masculina del Año" (Male Revelation of the Year) in 2016.
