This album earned him two Platinum certifications from AMPROFON (Mexico) and FIMI (Italy). In 2018 he released his fifth studio album titled “El Hubiera No Existe: Edicion Deluxe” which included five new songs that were not part of the original release of the same name. This album earned him three Platinum certifications from AMPROFON (Mexico), FIMI (Italy), and ARIA (Australia). Carlos has received numerous awards for his music including seven Latin Grammy Awards, four Billboard Latin Music Awards, and six Premios Juventud Awards. He has also been nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Latin Pop Album in 2017 & 2019 respectively. In 2021 he announced that he will be embarking on a world tour in 2023 to promote his upcoming sixth studio album titled "Cambio de Piel".
