David Darnell Brown, best known by his stage name Young Buck, is an American rapper. He heads his record label, Cashville, and was a member of the former hip-hop group G-Unit. Young Buck began his career in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 16 when he was signed to UTP Records. He released his debut album Straight Outta Cashville in 2004 which featured hit singles such as "Let Me In" and "Shorty Wanna Ride". The album achieved commercial success and was certified Platinum by the RIAA. Young Buck's second album, Buck the World, was released in 2007 and included guest appearances from T.I., Snoop Dogg, 8Ball & MJG, and more. It debuted at number three on Billboard 200 chart with over 140 thousand copies sold in its first week. The album spawned two singles "I Know You Want Me" and "Get Buck". It also earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Album that year. In 2008 he released his third studio album Back On My Buck Sh*t featuring production from Dr Dre and Swizz Beatz among others. This project saw him collaborate with big names such as 50 Cent Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Jazze Pha, and more!
Young Buck's fourth studio album The Rehab was released in 2010 with features from Bun B, Devin The Dude & Slim Thug among others. His fifth studio album 10 Bullets followed in 2015 with features from Yo Gotti & Starlito among others. In 2017 he released a collaborative EP titled Before the Beast with fellow G-Unit members Tony Yayo & Lloyd Banks featuring production from Drumma Boy & DJ Whoo Kid among others. Young Buck has also been featured on multiple songs throughout his career including 50 Cent's Get Up Remix featuring Eminem & Dr Dre as well as DJ Khaled's I'm On One featuring Drake & Rick Ross to name a few!
