The Ying Yang Twins are an American hip hop duo consisting of Kaine and D-Roc. The group was originally formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000 and is perhaps best known for their hits "Salt Shaker", "What's Happnin", and "Wait (The Whisper Song)". They are also well known for being featured on Lil Jon's hit single "Get Low".
The Ying Yang Twins began working with producer Lil Jon in 2000 and Lil Jon signed them to his record label, BME Recordings. The group's debut album, Thug Walkin', was released in 2002. The singles "Whistle While You Twurk" and "Say I Yi Yi" received heavy airplay on urban and pop radio stations. In 2003, the duo released their second album, Me & My Brother, which reached number three on the Billboard 200 chart and sold more than 1.4 million copies. The album's first single, "Naggin'", peaked at number 54 on the Hot 100 chart.
In 2007, the Ying Yang Twins signed with TVT Records and released their third album, Chemically Imbalanced. The first single from the album, "Dangerous", peaked at number nine on the Hot 100 chart. The album itself debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart.
The Ying Yang Twins' fourth album, Ying Yang Forever, was released in 2009 and features the singles "Live Again" and "Jigglin'".
The group's fifth album, Mud Moomba, was released in 2012. The first single from the album, "Mud Moomba", peaked at number 82 on the Hot 100 chart.
In 2015, the Ying Yang Twins released their sixth album, Wild Out West. The first single from the album, "Twurk It", peaked at number 36 on the Hot 100 chart.
