Kenyatta Lee Frazier Jr., who goes by the stage name Ken Carson, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer.
After meeting music producer TM88, Frazier was first signed to 808 Mafia in 2015 as a rapper. As early as 2017, he started putting out music on SoundCloud. He was discovered by fellow Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti and signed to his label Opium in 2019 after becoming well-known in the underground rap community.
After signing with Opium in 2019, Frazier released two extended plays in 2020, Boy Barbie and Teen X, followed by a follow-up EP named Teen X: Relapsed at the beginning of 2021, and his debut studio album Project X in the latter half of that year. He made a guest appearance on the song "Gek High" from American rapper Yeat's album 2 Aliv in February 2022. On July 8, 2022, he released his second studio album, X. On the Billboard 200, it peaked at position 115. He and Destroy Lonely, another rapper from Opium, gave Playboi Carti a ring for his 26th birthday in September 2022. He and fellow Atlanta rapper SoFaygo released the single "Hell Yeah" in October 2022, along with a music video.
Rapper Destroy Lonely from Atlanta is known for his chaotic, quick lyrics over moody trap sounds. Since the late 2010s, he has put out a ton of mixtapes and EPs, and his 2019 single "Bane" went viral two years after it first surfaced. He released No Stylist in 2022, his most sonically daring album to date, after joining Playboi Carti's Opium imprint.
The rapper I-20, who frequently worked with Ludacris and was signed to Disturbing the Peace, had a son named Bobby Sandimanie III. Growing up, the younger Sandimanie considered Ludacris to be an uncle and frequently toured with him. He completed his middle school coursework online, learned audio production in his spare time, and started posting music to SoundCloud in 2015.
He attended high school, where he connected with other rappers like Nezzus and Texaco Cam and made friends in the Atlanta rap scene. In addition to tracks like "Bane," Destroy Lonely also released his solo projects Darkhorse, Sometimes U Lose, and Forever, ILY in 2019 along with an EP called Lord and a mixtape on Playboi Carti's Opium label.
