Herbert Randall Wright III better known by his stage name G Herbo is an American rapper from Chicago. He is a member of the hip hop collective Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE) He has released one studio album, five mixtapes and nineteen singles

Wright was born on October 8, 1995, in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood on the city's West Side. When Wright was nine years old, his father was killed. As a result, he began selling drugs at age 11 to help support his family. He was arrested for the first time when he was 14 years old. In 2010, Wright's mother kicked him out of the house after finding drug paraphernalia in his room; Wright then began living with his grandmother.

Wright's stage name, G Herbo, is a combination of his initials and the street he grew up on, Garfield Boulevard. He began rapping in 2010, under the name Lil Herb. In 2011, he released his first mixtape, Welcome to Fazoland. The mixtape was well received by local music critics.

In 2012, Wright was featured on Chief Keef's single "I Don't Like", which peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song's success helped Wright gain popularity. In 2013, Wright released his second mixtape, Ballin' Like I'm Kobe. The mixtape includes the single "Kill Shit", which features Lil Bibby and was produced by DJ L.

At SXSW on April 4, 2016, Herbo announced that his debut album would be titled Humble Beast. He stated that its release date is "definitely in 2016." The album's lead single, "Lord Knows", was released on October 7, 2016. The song features a guest appearance from fellow Chicago rapper Lil Uzi Vert. The music video for the song was released on December 2, 2016.

On February 3, 2017, G Herbo announced that his debut album would be released on February 23, 2017, and would be titled Humble Beast. The album's second single, "Red Light", was released on February 14, 2017.

G Herbo's PTSD album, which has 14 tracks and features A Boogie wit da Hoodie, BJ the Chicago Kid, Lil Durk, Chance the Rapper, Juice Wrld, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Polo G, and many other artists, was released on February 28, 2020. On the Billboard 200, the album debuted at position number 7.

Lil Bibby claimed in a February 2021 interview that G Herbo had been in touch with him about finishing the work on their impending joint project, No Limitations. Bibby declared that he is prepared to complete the task in 2021.
