Theory of a Deadman is a Canadian rock band from North Delta, British Columbia. Formed in 1999, the band is currently signed to Roadrunner Records as well as 604 Records. Theory of a Deadman has released seven studio albums to date and has achieved multiple chart successes, including two number-one Theory of a Deadman hits on the US Mainstream Rock chart. Their debut album, Gasoline, was released in 2002 and featured the hit single “Bad Girlfriend” which reached number one on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The following year they released their second album, Scars & Souvenirs which was certified platinum in Canada and gold in the United States. This Theory of a Deadman new album featured hit singles such as “Hate My Life” and “By The Way” which both reached number one on the US Mainstream Rock chart. In 2011 Theory of a Deadman released their third studio album, The Truth Is… which featured the hit single “Lowlife” which reached number one on the US Mainstream Rock chart. This album was certified platinum in Canada and gold in the United States.
In 2014 they released their fourth studio album Savages which included the hit single “Angel” which also reached number one on the US Mainstream Rock chart. This album was certified gold in Canada and silver in the United States. In 2016 they released their fifth studio album Wake Up Call which included hit singles such as “Rx (Medicate)” and “Rx (Medicate) (Acoustic)” both of which reached number one on the US Mainstream Rock chart. Theory of a Deadman's sixth studio album Say Nothing was released in 2020 and includes hit singles such as "History Of Violence" and "Strangers". Theory of a Deadman continues to make waves with their music and will be touring throughout 2023 with stops all across North America!
