The High Kings, an Irish folk group formed in Dublin in 2008, is a band that has seen tremendous success. The High Kings continued to gain recognition with the release of their third album Grace & Glory in 2013. This record showcased more original material than ever before including fan-favorite songs like "Foggy Dew", "The Galway Girl" and "Heather On The Moor". It was nominated for Best Folk/Traditional Album at the 2014 Meteor Awards while also being certified gold in Ireland and the UK. In 2018, they released Between the Jigs & Reels which featured all-new acoustic arrangements of some of their biggest hits as well as brand-new material such as “My Love Is In America” and “The Parting Glass”. The High Kings have won multiple awards including Best Folk/Traditional Album at both the 2009 Meteor Awards and 2014 Meteor Awards as well as Entertainer Of The Year at the 2009 Irish Music Awards. They have toured extensively throughout Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan with many sold-out shows across these countries!
