A Wilhelm Scream is a melodic hardcore band from New Bedford, Massachusetts formed in 2003. The band's current lineup consists of vocalist Nuno Pereira, guitarists Trevor Reilly and Brian Robinson, bass guitarist Josh DeMasi, and drummer Mike Supina.
The band has released five studio albums, two split albums, one live album and one EP. Their first album, Mute Print, was released in 2005 through Nitro Records. The album was met with critical acclaim, with Punknews.org giving it a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars and Allmusic giving it 3 out of 5 stars.
A Wilhelm Scream announced that they had already begun composing on a follow-up to "Partycrasher" in an interview on August 18, 2015. Nuno Pereira revealed in March 2021 that he, Trevor, and Nick had acquired the rights to all of A Wilhelm Scream's prior releases with Nitro Records following a protracted legal fight. The group's fall run on the East Coast of the United States and Canada with Canadian hardcore band Comeback Kid was their first North American tour in three years. The band made the announcement that they had signed with Creator Destructor Records at the same moment.
Be One To No One, the first brand-new song from A Wilhelm Scream in in nine years, was made available on January 6, 2022, accompanied with a lyric music video. A Wilhelm Scream announced on January 10th, 2022, that their fifth studio album, Lose Your Delusion, would be published on April 14th, 2022. The album was entirely recorded in the band's home studio, with production by the band, mixing handled by Paramore producer Kyle Black, and mastering handled by Joe Reilly, in contrast to their prior experience utilizing Bill Stevenson and his team at The Blasting Room.
