In early 2021, the group blow up on TikTok after going viral with their rendition of the 1800s folk song "Wellerman".
The group was formed in 2008 by Andy Yates and Dave Robinson. The two had been playing music together for many years before deciding to form a band. They were soon joined by Jonathan Darley and Robbie Sattin, who both brought their own musical backgrounds and influences to the group. Together, they began performing at local venues and festivals around Bristol.
In 2012, the group released their first album, "First of Longest", which featured a mix of traditional and original songs. The album was well-received by critics and helped to raise the band's profile.
