Michael Blaustein is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He began his career in the late 1990s performing stand-up comedy in various clubs around New York City. In 2004 he was named one of Comedy Central's "Hot Comics" and has since appeared on numerous television programs including The Late Show with David Letterman, Last Comic Standing, and Jimmy Kimmel Live! He has also released two albums: Uncomfortably Close (2007) and I'm Not Asking For Much (2009). Blaustein has been featured in a variety of films such as Date Night, Tower Heist, and Trainwreck. His latest project is the Netflix Original Series Friends from College where he plays the role of Max Adler. Blaustein is also known for his work as a writer on shows such as The Office and Parks & Recreation. He co-wrote the feature film Hot Tub Time Machine 2 which premiered at SXSW in 2015.
