USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) was a Canadian alternative rock musical duo from Toronto. The band consisted of Ashlin Winnicki and Jason Parsons, who was also known by their respective stage names, "Ocean" and "Woody". The band's sound is a mixture of drum and bass beats, grunge-like guitar riffs, and 2-step rhythms. USS released their debut album, Quest for the Popple, in 2006. The album was a moderate success, reaching number 28 on the Canadian Albums Chart. The album's second single, "In Love", was a top 40 hit in Canada.

The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching number 14 on the Canadian Albums Chart and being nominated for two Juno Awards. The album's lead single, "Yin Yang", was a top 20 hit in Canada. USS' third album, Anti-Venom, was released in 2011. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 11 on the Canadian Albums Chart. The album's lead single, "Hollywood", was a top 10 hit in Canada. USS announced their hiatus in 2014, citing creative differences. The band has not officially reunited, although Winnicki and Parsons have continued to work together on occasion.
