Adam George Dyment, better known by his stage name Duke Dumont, is an English DJ and music producer. He has achieved success in the UK and US with his chart-topping hits such as "Need U (100%)", "I Got U" and "Won't Look Back". Since starting as a bedroom producer in 2002, Duke has gone on to become one of the most sought-after producers in the music industry. His sound is characterized by its deep house elements and melodic synths that have been heard on BBC Radio 1, MTV Dance, Kiss FM, Capital FM, and many other radio stations across the UK. He released his debut single “The Giver” in 2012 which became a huge hit on the UK charts. It was also nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. Both these songs were top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart and Billboard Hot 100 respectively. In 2015, Duke Dumont released his third studio album titled Blasé Boys Club Pt 2 which included singles such as “Ocean Drive” and “The Giver (Reprise)” both of which were top 10 hits in the UK Singles Chart. He also collaborated with Disclosure for their song “Holdin On” which was certified Platinum by BPI for sales exceeding 600,000 copies in the UK alone! His fourth studio album was released later that year titled Be Here Now which featured collaborations with artists such as Sam Smith, Emeli Sandé, and Gabrielle Aplin.
Since then, Duke Dumont has continued to collaborate with numerous artists including Gorgon City for their single “Real Life” which peaked at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart; he also collaborated with Tinie Tempah on their single “Runnin'” which reached number 8 on the same chart. In 2021 he released his fifth studio album Duality featuring collaborations from artists such as Jamie Principle & Zebra Katz; this album achieved commercial success reaching number 5 on the UK Albums Chart becoming Duke's highest charting album to date!
