Born and raised in Flint, Texas, William Clark Green has always had a passion for music. He started playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 17 after attending a Randy Rogers Band Show with his father and grandfather. After graduating from Texas Tech University, he moved to Austin to pursue his music career in full force. Since then, Green has released six full-length albums. His debut album was “rose queen” which dropped in 2011 to critical acclaim. The lead singles off the album "She Likes the Beatles" reached number one on the Texas Music Chart making him a household name in Texas music circles. He followed that success with his second album “Ringling Road” in 2012 and his third album “Underdogs” in 2014 both also peaking at number one–a feat that solidified Green as an artist not to be missed. His fourth album “Hebert Island” dropped in 2016 before he released two more EPs–EP 1 and EP 2–in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
When it comes to awards, Green doesn't shy away from recognition either. He's been nominated for prestigious awards like the Academy of Texas Music George Strait Award for Male Vocalist of the Year (2012), twice for Male Vocalist of the Year by Lone Star Music Awards (2014-2015) as well as being recognized for Album of the Year for “Rose Queen” by Lonestar Magazine (2011). Additionally, his song "Sticks & Stones" won Songwriter of the year from Touring Artist Magazine (2016). All this acclaim has allowed William Clark Green to take live performances all over both domestically and internationally including in countries such as Brazil, England, and Canada. Since he started playing professionally back in 2011, he's done countless tour dates including Outlaws & Renegades Tour (2017), headlining Homegrown Tour (2018), Highway Headliners World Tour 2019/2020 along with Jamey Johnson headlining dates across North America throughout 2020 & 2021 so far amounting to over 500 tour dates to date!
