Sammy Kershaw, the award-winning country music artist, has been a mainstay in the music industry since his debut album release in 1991. Born and raised in Louisiana, Sammy Kershaw started his career as a songwriter before signing with Mercury Nashville Records. His first single “Cadillac Style” from his self-titled debut album reached number four on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. In 1993, he released his second album Haunted Heart which produced three more Top 10 hits including “She Don't Know She's Beautiful” and “National Working Woman's Holiday”. This album was certified gold by the RIAA and earned Sammy two Academy of Country Music awards for Top New Male Vocalist and Album of the Year. In 1995, Sammy released his third studio album Feelin' Good Train which featured the Sammy Kershaw hit single “Queen of My Double Wide Trailer” which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. This song was later certified platinum by the RIAA and earned him an ACM award for Song of The Year. The following year, he released Politics Religion & Her which featured five singles including “Third Rate Romance”, “Meant to Be” and “Vidalia”.
This album was also certified gold by the RIAA and earned him another ACM award for Single of The Year. In 1997, Sammy released Labor Of Love which spawned two Top 10 singles - "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" and "Love Of My Life". In 1999, he released Maybe Not Tonight which included four singles - "Maybe Not Tonight", "Letters From Home", "I Can't Reach Her Anymore" and "Trouble In Paradise". All four Sammy Kershaw greatest hits were Top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with "Maybe Not Tonight" peaking at number seven. His next three albums – I Want My Money Back (2001), Better Than I Used To Be (2003), Honky Tonk Boots (2007) – all went gold in sales while 2009's Better Than Me received a platinum certification from RIAA. Kershaw is currently scheduled to embark on a world tour this 2023! He will be performing all across North America as well as Europe with some dates already announced in London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and many more!
