Marty Stuart is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a career spanning over four decades. He has released 17 studio albums and 43 singles. His first album, Busy Bee Cafe, was released in 1982. The album was a mix of traditional country, bluegrass, and rockabilly music that showcased his unique sound. Since then he has gone on to release many more successful albums such as Hillbilly Rock (1989), This One's Gonna Hurt You (1992), Honky Tonkin's What I Do Best (1996), and The Pilgrim (1999). In addition to his solo work, Marty Stuart has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in country music including Johnny Cash, George Jones, Emmylou Harris, Kenny Rogers, Travis Tritt, and more. He also served as the frontman for the band The Fabulous Superlatives from 2004-2014. During this time they released three studio albums together which featured classic covers of country standards as well as original material written by Marty. Throughout his career, Marty Stuart has earned numerous awards including five Grammy Awards for Best Country Instrumental Performance ("Clinch Mountain Backstep"), Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal ("The Whiskey Ain't Workin'"), Best Country Song ("Tempted"), Best Country Album ("The Pilgrim") and Best Southern Gospel Album ("Live at the Ryman"). He is also a six-time winner of the Academy of Country Music award for Top Male Vocalist and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1992.
