Lost Dog Street Band was formed in Nashville in 2010 and followed in the tradition of traveling musicians like Woody Guthrie, traveling by train and hitchhiking, bringing their brand of country music to venues across the country.
The band's debut album, First Light, was released in 2011 and garnered attention from NPR and other media outlets. The band's second album, White Buffalo, was released in 2012. The album's title track was featured in an episode of the television show Justified. In 2013, the band released its third album, Hollow Bodies. The album's lead single, "Shake the Gates", was featured in an episode of the television show Sons of Anarchy. The band's fourth album, Again & Again, was released in 2016. The album's lead single, "All That I Need", was featured in an episode of the television show Shameless.
