Jonathan Ryan Pardi is an American country music singer and songwriter. Pardi's first single, "Missin' You Crazy," was released in March 2012. Although it was only his second single, it marked a debut on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The "Up All Night" caught the attention of numerous country music fans and gained Pardi exposure to a larger audience. Signed to Capitol Records Nashville in 2016, Pardi has released three studio albums: California Sunrise, Write You a Song, and Heartache Medication. All three albums have been certified Gold or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His single "Head Over Boots" from California Sunrise peaked at number one on Country Airplay in 2016. He has also co-written singles for Dustin Lynch, Chase Rice, and Jon Pardi. He was born on May 20, 1985, in Dixon, California, to parents Claire (née Daugherty) and Cletus Pardi. He was raised on his family's ranch on the outskirts of Dixon, where he developed a love for country music. He was only 7 years old when he sang Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" at his dad's 30th birthday party held at a Legion hall. He began playing guitar at the age of 11, and by 16 he was writing his own songs. 

Immediately after high school, Jon and their good friend Chase McGrew started a country music duo. They performed at different clubs in the area before attending Butte Junior College. Before he enrolled in Butte Junior College, they played with the group Northern Comfort. He later moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in country music. Pardi's debut album, California Sunrise, was released on July 29, 2016. The album's second single, "Dirt on My Boots", also peaked at number one on Country Airplay in 2017. He won the Academy of Country Music Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year in 2018. His second album, Write You a Song, was released on October 27, 2017. The album's lead single, "Heartache on the Dance Floor", peaked at number two on Country Airplay in 2018. The album's second single, "She Ain't in It", also peaked at number two on Country Airplay. His third album, Heartache Medication, was released on September 27, 2019. The album's lead single, "Night Shift", peaked at number one on Country Airplay in 2019. The album's second single, "Beer Can't Fix", also peaked at number one on Country Airplay. He has also been featured on the single "What I See" by The Cadillac Three. He has also been nominated for Grammy Awards and Country Music Association Awards.
