John Michael Montgomery is a country music singer and songwriter who was born in Danville, Kentucky. He has released a total of nine studio albums and sold over 15 million records worldwide. His first album, Life's A Dance, was released in 1992 and featured the hit single "I Love The Way You Love Me", which peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. It also included the singles "I Swear" and "Be My Baby Tonight". His second album, Kickin' It Up, was released in 1994 and featured two number-one singles: "I Can Love You Like That" and "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)". His third album What I Do The Best was released in 1996 and featured three number-one singles: "No Man's Land", "How Was I To Know", and the title track. In 1997, John Michael Montgomery released his fourth album Leave A Mark which featured his first number-one single on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with its title track.
He followed up with two more albums: 1999's Brand New Me, which included the top-five hit "The Little Girl"; and 2000's Home To You, which spawned four top-ten hits including the number one single "The Little Girl". In 2003 he released his seventh studio album Pictures which contained his ninth number-one single on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with its title track. In 2006 he released Time Flies; this album contained two top-ten hits with its lead-off single "Letters From Home" peaking at number two on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He has announced a 2023 tour that will take him across the world for an exciting live performance!
