Flatland Cavalry is a country and Americana band from Lubbock, Texas. The band was formed in 2012 by vocalist Cleto Cordero, drummer Jason Albers, bassist Matt Mabe, and guitarist Reid Dillon. They have released four albums to date: Humble Folks (2016), Homeland Insecurity (2018), Songs To Keep You Warm (2020), and Long Live The Lonesome (2021). Their debut album, Humble Folks, was met with critical acclaim and earned them their first award nomination for Best New Group at the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards. Their second album, Homeland Insecurity, featured the hit single "Crazy" which peaked at #2 on the Texas Music Chart. The album also earned them two more award nominations for Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards.

The band's third album Songs To Keep You Warm was released in 2020 and features singles such as "Must Be The Whiskey", "Loving On You", and "The Only Thing That Matters". This album earned them their fourth award nomination for Best Country Band/Duo/Group at the Austin Music Awards. They have performed at festivals such as SXSW, RedGorilla Music Fest, Old Settler's Music Festival, and many more.
