Diamond Rio is an American country music band that formed in 1984. The group consists of Marty Roe (lead vocals), Jimmy Olander (guitar), Dan Truman (keyboards), Gene Johnson (mandolin, guitar, fiddle, tenor vocals), and Dana Williams (bass guitar, baritone vocals). This award-winning band has achieved incredible success in the music industry with its unique blend of country, bluegrass, and gospel influences. Diamond Rio released their self-titled debut album in 1991 and it was met with great success. In 2002, Diamond Rio won Vocal Group of the Year at both the Academy of Country Music Awards and CMA Awards. Later albums include Unbelievable in 2004 and The Reason in 2006.
