Brantley Keith Gilbert is an American country rock singer, songwriter, and record producer from Jefferson, Georgia. He was originally signed to Colt Ford's label, Average Joes Entertainment, where he released Modern Day Prodigal Son and Halfway to Heaven. In 2014, Gilbert signed with The Valory Music Co., a subsidiary of Big Machine Label Group. He has released four studio albums for The Valory Music Co., Just as I Am (2014), Halfway to Heaven: Deluxe Edition (2015), and The Devil Don't Sleep (2017). and Fire & Brimstone (2019). Gilbert's fourth album, Fire & Brimstone, debuted at number four on the Billboard 200, making it his highest-charting album to date. Gilbert also co-wrote Colt Ford's hit single "Dirt Road Anthem", which was originally recorded by Brantley Gilbert and included on his Halfway to Heaven: Deluxe Edition album. The song was later recorded by Jason Aldean, with Colt Ford's rap verses removed, and was a number-one single on the Country charts. Gilbert has also co-written singles for other artists, including "My Kinda Party" by Jason Aldean, "You Don't Know Her Like I Do" by Brantley Gilbert, and "Take It Outside" by Brantley Gilbert.
