Billy Currington, the award-winning country singer, and songwriter, has been a staple in the music industry since 2003. Born in Savannah, Georgia, Currington grew up listening to classic country music and was inspired to pursue his musical career when he heard George Strait’s “Amarillo by Morning”. After signing with Mercury Nashville Records in 2003, he released his debut single “Walk A Little Straighter” which quickly gained attention from fans and critics alike. Each album has produced several hit singles such as “People Are Crazy”, “That's How Country Boys Roll”, “Good Directions”, and “Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right”.
These songs have become fan favorites and have earned him multiple awards including Male Vocalist of the Year at the CMT Music Awards in 2009.
