Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure is a multi-genre musical group based in Tokyo, Japan. The group is composed of five members: Takeshi Hayashida (keyboard), Akira Nakayama (guitar), Sumire Uemura (flute & vocalist), Mitsuhiro Tojo (drums), and Shintaro 'Sho' Koyanagi (bass). Founded in 2004, the band has released five albums to date – “Dramatic Symphony” (2005), “Celestial Melodies” (2006), “The Crystal Castle” (2008), “Secrets of the Moonlit Heavens”(2010), and recently, "Glorious" (2016). Their debut single, "My Hero," was an instant hit, leading to appearances on numerous television shows internationally. Their unique sound combines elements from classical, jazz, and rock music genres, with strong lyrical themes inspired by traditional Japanese culture. Throughout their career, the band has been awarded many distinctions for their work. They won two prestigious Japanese Music Awards for Best Rock Band in 2009 and 2010.
