The American Contemporary Music Ensemble is a group of musicians who perform a variety of contemporary American music. The group was founded in 2006 by composer and conductor Robert Beaser. The ensemble has performed at several festivals and concert series, including the Ravinia Festival, the Lincoln Center Festival, and the Mostly Mozart Festival. In addition to their work with contemporary composers, the ensemble has also worked with many popular artists, including John Adams, Steve Reich, and Philip Glass. The American Contemporary Music Ensemble is dedicated to performing and promoting the work of American composers.
