Eric Gales is an American blues rock guitarist who has been hailed as one of the most influential guitarists of his generation. His third album, The Eric Gales Band, was released in 1991 and featured some of his best work to date. In addition to accolades for his music, Gales also received an honorary degree from Berklee College of Music for his contribution to modern blues music. In 2021 Gales embarked on a new chapter in his career with the release of Layin' Down The Blues Vol 1., an album that showcases Gales' signature sound while also exploring different musical styles such as R&B, soul, funk, and gospel.
