Croke Park Stadium is a Gaelic Athletic Association stadium in Dublin, Ireland. The 82,300 capacity stadium, shares with other sports organisations including the Irish Football Association of Ireland (IFA), the Rugby Football Union of Ireland (RFU) and Basketball Croke Park Stadium has been Croke Park since 1884 when it was originally built as Croke Park Racecourse. Croke Park was named after Michael Croke who was one of the first GAA presidents. The first ever All-Ireland final was held in Croke Park in 1887 when Cork beat Meath. Croke Park has also been used as a venue for American football, rugby union and concerts. In 2016, Croke Park hosted its first ever NFL game when the Miami Dolphins took on the New York Giants. Croke Park is also home to the GAA Museum which is well worth a visit if you are visiting Dublin.
