Afterward, the official name was officially changed to "Minute Maid Park". The Braves sealed their fourth World Series championship this year, with three games being played at Minute Maid Park. Their victories in Games 1 and 6 (alongside successes in Games 3 and 4 at Truist Park) provided them the decisive edge over their opponents. For the 2022 World Series, Minute Maid Park was honored to host Games 1, 2 and 6. On Game 6, the Astros basked in glory as they won their second World Series championship at home. This was their fourth time hoisting a Championship trophy at the ballpark and first time to do it on their own field. It was an unforgettable moment for all of those who attended! Not only did the Houston Astros emerge victorious in Game 2, but they also triumphed two out of three games at Citizens Bank Park against their competitors, the Philadelphia Phillies. In April 2022, Minute Maid Park became the first MLB stadium to debut Amazon's revolutionary "Just Walk Out" technology in two of its concession stands.
