The Michigan Wolverines women's volleyball team is a NCAA Division I level competitive group that represents the University of Michigan. The team has been dominant in the Big Ten Conference since its inception, winning or sharing nineteen regular season titles and appearing in all but one NCAA tournament. The team is currently coached by Mark Rosen and play their home matches in Cliff Keen Arena. The Wolverines have appeared in 27 NCAA tournaments, with their most recent appearance coming in 2018. They have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen 12 times, the Elite Eight on seven occasions, and the Final Four four times. The team's best finish came in 2005, when they finished as national runners-up to the University of Washington Huskies. In 2019, the Wolverines won their twentieth Big Ten Conference title and made their twenty-eighth NCAA tournament appearance. The team finished the season with a 27-7 record, including a 15-3 mark in conference play. The Wolverines were defeated by the University of Pittsburgh in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
